Pricing

$195 per child for a four-day session in spring and fall covers all meals, lodging, instructional staff, and supplies at Camp Galilee in the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 school year. Programs may be available at the Nevada 4-H Camp in Stateline and fees may be slightly higher.

$125 per child for a three-day session in winter at Camp Galilee

$75 per child for a two-day session in winter at Camp Galilee

There is no charge for the primary teacher in each classroom and for mentors attending GBOS. Other persons such as additional teachers, assistants, student teachers, parent assistants and children of teachers will be charged sites costs of one-half the regular fee.

These payments are required:

  1. RESERVE: A 20% deposit (20% of the full, undiscounted fee for all the students you intend to bring) is required in order to reserve your date. Weeks are filled on a first-come-first-served basis, so the earlier you make your deposit, the more likely you will get the week you prefer. Deposits are refundable up to March 1 for the fall season and November 1 for the spring season. After these dates, deposits are not refundable but may to transferred to another school or later season.
  2. COMPLETE: Full payment must be received by the end of your week of attendance. A final invoice will be provided. If you are waiting for money that has been fundraised but not come in yet, please contact us.

Application

Now that you know about the Great Basin program, site, our curriculum and the standards met, and the season schedule, we hope you'll sign up.  Please download and complete the application located below. The teacher trifold can help you get other teachers and your principal interested.

The season schedule is available about one year before time. If you are a returning school, you may reserve next year's spot the week you come to camp.  If you are a new school, you may sign up starting November 1 for the fall season and July 1 for the spring season. Remember that your week is not reserved until your deposit is made.
