Length of Programs
We encourage schools to participate in the full 4-day spring & fall camps and 3-day winter camps to be most meaningful and memorable for your students. Shorter sessions are possible but don't include Tahoe research boat or Winter Jeopardy.
We give teachers fundraising ideas and grant opportunities to help reduce the cost. Additionally, to limit the hardship for low-income schools, we fundraise annually in order to provide scholarships.
Program Highlights
Our overnight programs feature outdoor science activities that enable students to learn in a fun,
engaging way.
Activities include a life science hike at Spooner lake, a research boat trip on Lake Tahoe, earth science, a night hike, star-gazing, tons of science-based games, team building, & so much more! All lessons are aligned with Common Core & Nevada State Standards and are customized for your class.
