These short excursions are led by our knowledgeable naturalists and created for the whole family to enjoy!
Participant numbers will be limited, so be sure to register below!

Davis Creek Nature Trail
Join us Saturday June 13 for an easy family hike around the Davis Creek Nature Trail from 10:00-noon. We'll glimpse the burn area, hike in the forest, enjoy the pond, and do some nature art for the kids.
Davis Creek Park is 20 miles south of Reno on old 395 just north of Bowers Mansion. You'll turn left after entering the park and then left again as soon as you see the sign directing you to the start of the nature trail. Park at the pond and meet at the eagle sculpture beside the pond.
Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, and good walking shoes.

Guided hikes are scheduled and occur, permitting weather. We will attempt to notify you 24 hours in advance if the hike will be rescheduled. Some weather conditions that will result in cancellation include but are not limited to an Air Quality Index (AQI) greater than 100, chain controls on major highways, or rain. Hikes will only be rescheduled once.
