Camp Information
Our Summer Adventure Day Camp features fun, inclusive, hands-on activities. Students are immersed in lessons that engage them and keep them learning and adventuring outdoors.
Each day is a different outdoor, scientific theme and will include daily guest speakers from the community, crafts, experiments, and lots of time in the outdoors. Campers enroll in week-long sessions, with no daily drop-ins available at this time.
Camp this summer will focus on geology, water, local ecology, climate change & sustainability, community service, and more!
Themes change weekly and topics daily so signing up for multiple sessions is encouraged!

Before-care: as early as 8 am
After-care: 5:00 pm pick up

One child: $240/week
Two children: $440/week
Three children: $660/week
Sibling discounts are already worked into our enrollment costs.
Scholarships
We have a limited number of scholarships that are available on an "as needs" basis.
Scholarships are only available for one week of Summer Day Camp!

COVID-19 Safety Precautions as of 3/30/2022
Following Governor Sisolak's lift on the mask mandate, we will not be requiring masks* at our Summer Adventure Day Camp.
We encourage all eligible participants to get vaccinated.
*subject to change. Great Basin Outdoor School will conform to any mask requirements set by Washoe County School District.

Summer Adventure Day Camp Registration
Registration is complete once you have completed the registration form below, selected SUBMIT, AND your payment has been received.
See below for the payment section.
***Summer Adventure Day Camp Sessions that are currently full:
All Weeks are FULL for 6 & 7 year olds
Weeks 1-3 are FULL for 8 & 9 year olds
Week 4 is FULL for ALL ages
To join our waiting list, please complete a form by selecting the waiting list button below. Make sure you hit SUBMIT at the end otherwise our staff will not receive your information. Our staff will contact you if space becomes available.

Enrollment is ONLY complete once the registration form AND payment are submitted. Please read all payment instructions.
1. Pay for Day Camp Enrollment
Select the number of children attending and click Add to Cart. This will take you to a new page to complete payment.
Change the Quantity to 2 if you enrolling in both weeks of camp.
If you are also registering for Before & After Care, after clicking Add to Cart AND before completing payment, return to this page and read the Before & After Care Payment instructions.
2. Pay for Before & After Care
Select the number of children attending and click Add to Cart. This will take you to a new page where you will also see your Day Camp Enrollment in your cart.
Change the Quantity to the total number of Before & After Care sessions you are signing up for. (1 Day of Before Care = 1 Session, 1 Day of After Care = 1 Session)
Now you can complete one payment for both Day Camp Enrollment and Before & After Care.
